Hope you can join us on the deck afterwards for some lunch and draw prizes. The Racing Rock Sprints will go past 11:30am, but the first heats should be wrapped up, and lunch will be ready by 11:30am. MNSC will be offering hot chili, with rolls, provided by chef Tim Carroll. The rest will be potluck. Track Attack and Jackrabbit families - salads. Trailblazer and Junior Racer families - desserts (nut free). Thank-you.

Thanks to all families, coaches, assistants, volunteers, and The Trail Shop, for helping us with this winter’s xc and biathlon programs. A big thanks to Ski Martock for the dedicated snowmaking and grooming, which makes our programs possible, and creates a ski community.

Ski Martock trails will continue to be open and groomed throughout March, so come on out and enjoy!

Bryan Scallion Ski Trails in McDonald Sport Park, Waverley

Information About the Bryan Scallion Ski Trails

HRM's first and only dedicated Nordic ski trails feature 7.5 kilometers of groomed ski trails (weather permitting) in a wilderness setting and along the shores of beautiful Lake Thomas in Waverley, Nova Scotia.

The trail system for winter Nordic winter sport has been named in honour of its late designer, Bryan Scallion. Bryan was a dedicated national and world class amateur athlete whose first love was Nordic skiing. He contributed countless hours as a coach, athlete and friend to the endurance sporting community of Nova Scotia. When we ski these trails, we honour Bryan.
